The Business of Golf Course Management
I have today launched my golf course consultancy business aimed specifically to aid greenkeepers, superintendents and and managers with their challenge of golf course maintenance.
This is a copy of the press release that went out to the golf industry:
“I feel that there is a real need for a consultant within the golf industry who fully understands the implications of differing greenkeeping practices to the bottom line profit of a golf operation. Someone who can help facilitate the operational change that is required to achieve a Golf Club/Business goals”.
Having managed commercial businesses and golf course maintenance operations over a 30 year period, that have included Buckinghamshire Golf Club, The Wentworth Club, Royal Dornoch Golf Club, and John Jacobs Golf Associates, Kevin is well placed to provide balanced advice on the commercial impact of agronomic policies.
On working with fellow course management professionals Kevin said.
“I am also aiming my services at course managers who see the professional benefits from a mentoring service, where they can get immediate and impartial advice. Advice that would help them rapidly progress their management problems/issues and thus their courses condition, leading ultimately to profitability and harmony within their clubs”.
